On appelle “Nomades Digitaux” les travailleurs qui adoptent un mode de vie dans lequel ils voyagent fréquemment tout en travaillant à distance, grâce à un métier qui nécessite uniquement un ordinateur et une bonne connexion Wifi.

Être Nomade Digital c’est donc gérer ses activités professionnelles en ligne, tout en ayant une mobilité qui te permette de voyager.
Finalement, il te suffit d’une connexion Wifi ou de données mobiles et hop te voilà au bureau !
Il existe une multitude de façons d’être nomade digital.
- En faisant le tour du monde, ou juste quelques semaines dans l’année.
- En France ou à l’étranger…
- Depuis un domicile temporaire, un hôtel, un café ou encore un espace de coworking.
As-tu déjà imaginé que tu puisses être un nomade digital intermittent ?
Le temps de quelques jours, semaines…
Une escapade pour profiter d’un cadre différent, d’un voyage !
Si tu souhaites te lancer, c’est important de te préparer un peu.
Voici 5 conseils pour profiter à fond de ton escapade Nomade Digital.
Conseil #1 – Alléger et adapter ton agenda
Tu vas dans un endroit différent, voire même à l’étranger c’est pour profiter de l’environnement et aussi pour te dégager des espaces de créativité, des plages de “rien”…
Pourquoi pas en profiter pour prévoir des siestes, des cours de yoga ou autre activité que tu aimerais intégrer à l’expérience.
La régularité n’est pas toujours simple et d’autant plus en voyage, t’organiser (un peu 
) va te permettre de profiter pleinement de ton escapade.
- Organiser ton agenda :
En tant que nomade digital, tu peux travailler n’importe où et à tout moment. Profite de cette flexibilité pour ajuster ton emploi du temps en fonction de tes besoins personnels et professionnels.
Par exemple : Tu peux travailler seulement le matin ou organiser ta semaine pour ne travailler que 3 ou 4 jours.
- Respecter ton rythme :
Organise ton rythme de travail en fonction de tes envies et des conditions du lieu dans lequel tu vie (température, décalage horaire…). N’oublie pas de garder de l’espace pour profiter des rencontres, prendre des pauses pour te ressourcer et t’imprégner du lieu où tu es.
Par exemple : s’il fait super chaud l’après-midi, tu n’auras peut-être pas envie de sortir à ces heures-là ou au contraire tu préfèreras être dans l’eau plutôt que derrière ton écran !
- Communiquer sur ton cadre de travail :
Partage aux membres de ton équipe et à tes clients les bonnes pratiques pour échanger lors de cette période.
Par exemple : Si tu es à l’étranger tu préfèreras certainement communiquer via WhatsApp ou en visio. S’il y a du décalage horaire, tu peux indiquer tes plages de disponibilités pour éviter toute frustration ou réveil nocturne !
Conseil #2 – Définir un chouette environnement
Voyager en travaillant n’est pas de tout repos, il ne faut pas confondre ce temps avec des vacances. Un équilibre sera à trouver, le rythme de travail (et de vacances d’ailleurs) pourrait être quelque peu ralenti !
Il est important de se sentir bien “chez soi” même à l’autre bout du monde.
- Sélectionner ton logement :
Prends le temps de te trouver un logement, un lieu où tu vas pouvoir rester plusieurs jours, de préférence en vérifiant avec le propriétaire si la couverture 4G ou Wifi est bonne.
- Trouver le meilleur endroit pour t’installer :
As-tu besoin de t’isoler ou non ? As-tu besoin de calme et de concentration ? Tu pourras choisir en fonction des tâches que tu souhaites faire si tu veux t’installer dans un espace collectif ou privé. Pense aux éléments qui peuvent influencer ton choix tels que le bruit, la lumière, la connexion wifi ou 4G, les prises électriques ou la vue 😎 …
- Anticiper les jours de transports :
Pour ton escapade tu vas avoir besoin de te déplacer peut-être même à plusieurs reprises. N’oublie pas de te garder des jours off pour passer d’un lieu à un autre. Parfois tout se passera à merveille et tu auras du temps pour avancer sur des sujets pro et parfois rien ne se passera comme prévu et c’est chouette de ne pas devoir lancer une visio dans une gare routière entre 2 transports collectifs !
Conseil #3 – Emporter tes indispensables
Pour réussir ton escapade, il est important de prévoir ta liste de matériel indispensable. Tu ne vas probablement pas avoir les mêmes conditions qu’au bureau ou à la maison en temps normal.
Voici une liste de ce qui prend naturellement sa place dans ma valise de nomade digitale !
- Informatique :
Mon mac évidemment (et ça fonctionne aussi très bien avec un PC !!), sans oublier son chargeur, un adaptateur si la destination possède des normes différentes…
- Confort :
J’emporte aussi mon Ipad, j’aime l’utiliser pour plusieurs types de tâches que je ne peux pas faire avec mon ordi et j’ai aussi découvert récemment que je pouvais l’utiliser en deuxième écran en le connectant en bluetooth avec mon mac. 🤩
- Son :
Un des incontournables de ton package de nomade digital, les écouteurs ! Airpods, casque… quel que soit ta team, avoir tes écouteurs te permettra, au-delà d’écouter ta playlist préférée dans les transports, de pouvoir te mettre dans ta bulle lors de rendez-vous par téléphone ou en visio.
- Energie :
Une batterie externe, ça dépanne dans les transports et ça peut aussi prendre le relai en cas de coupures d’électricité. Travailler à l’étranger est aussi une manière d’apprécier les différences d’infrastructures !
- Connexion :
La plupart des forfaits mobiles français couvrent les besoins internet en partage de connexion et fonctionnent dans différents pays d’Europe. Pour l’étranger, tu peux acheter un pack avec ton opérateur français ou directement te procurer une carte SIM locale avec de la 4G. Bonus : Tu peux installer ton WhatsApp habituel sur cette nouvelle carte SIM et rester connecté avec ton numéro français en utilisant le réseau local.
- Hors-ligne :
Avec les principaux outils (gdrive, onedrive, notion…), tu peux télécharger tes documents et tes fichiers en local sur ton ordinateur, comme ça plus de stress tu peux les ouvrir même sans couverture réseau.
- Un carnet (ou plusieurs) :
Pour noter tes idées, pour tenir un journal de bord, pour consigner les moments précieux de ton voyage, pour dessiner… Ton carnet sera ton meilleur ami pendant ce moment hors du temps ! Ce que je trouve d’autant plus chouette c’est que tu pourras y revenir plus tard et reconnecter via ces notes à l’énergie et aux souvenirs de ce voyage.
Conseil #4 – T’entourer et prendre soin de toi
Pour que cette escapade soit confortable : A toi de voir si tu souhaites la vivre en solo ou accompagné.e. Si tu choisis la version collective, il est important de vérifier avec tes acolytes que vous êtes bien en phase sur vos envies et vos rythmes de voyage. Partir avec un autre nomade digital sera certainement plus fluide qu’avec un ami salarié qui envisagerait cette escapade comme des vacances pures.
- Co-livings :
Il existe des communautés de nomades digitaux qui te proposent directement des formules en groupe. Ici, tu vas pouvoir rencontrer d’autres nomades digitaux et surtout profiter d’une organisation prévue pour le groupe avec des activités les week-ends… Tu n’auras qu’à te préoccuper de ton activité pro pendant que l’organisation se chargera du reste !
- Co-working :
Les espaces de co-working sont de plus en plus répandus. Ils te garantissent des conditions de travail et une qualité de connexion adaptée aux activités en ligne. C’est un formidable moyen pour rencontrer d’autres nomades digitaux ainsi que des entrepreneurs locaux.
- En solo :
L’isolement en tant qu’entrepreneur est souvent un sujet important. Tu peux choisir de partir seul.e tout en gardant des espaces de connexion avec ta communauté par le biais de masterminds ou simplement d’échanges visio ou téléphonique avec des Business Friends qui pourront te soutenir dans cette aventure.
Ma première expérience significative de nomade digitale a été en 2019 quand je suis partie pour 2 mois à Bali. Je suis partie seule et j’ai fréquenté régulièrement un espace de co-working qui m’a permis de rencontrer d’autres entrepreneurs et de développer des amitiés précieuses au cours de ce voyage notamment à travers nos excursions les week-ends !
Pour l’expérience sénégalaise, le schéma est un peu différent. Je suis partie accompagnée de Flore pour rejoindre Tiphaine, toutes 2 rencontrées lors d’un Mastermind d’entrepreneures en ligne.
Leur présence dans cette escapade de nomade digitale a permis des coups de boost incroyables sur nos activités respectives. Sans formaliser les temps d’échanges entre nous, les couchers de soleils et les apéros avaient souvent une saveur de co-développement adressant les sujets importants de chacune à tour de rôle.
Partager ce moment avec d’autres entrepreneurs est une source de motivation, d’échanges et de boost collectif !
Conseil #5 – Donner du sens à ta présence
Ce dernier conseil est assez personnel et n’est pas indispensable pour une escapade de nomade digital. Cependant il est selon moi profondément lié au sens que tu associes à ton expérience entrepreneuriale et à sa couleur nomade digitale.
Identifie ce qui te tient à coeur et ce pour quoi tu souhaiterais oeuvrer pendant cette escapade.
Soutenir des associations, prendre part à des oeuvres caritatives ou des actions de préservation de l’environnement… Rencontrer des réseaux locaux…
Lors de notre escapade sénégalaise, grâce à Tiphaine, nous avons fait la rencontre de Bijou. Une femme absolument incroyable et inspirante, directrice de l’école primaire qu’elle a fondé et présidente de l’association Casamasanté qui oeuvre pour faciliter l’accès aux soins pour les sénégalais.
Lors de cette rencontre, nous avons souhaité identifier comment nous pourrions soutenir les actions de l’association. Il se trouve que Bijou et l’équipe de Casamasanté avaient des sujets d’organisation à éclaircir.
Clarifier les rôles et responsabilités dans l’équipe. Encourager une communication transparente et bienveillante…
Autant de sujets qui sont au coeur de mes accompagnements en entreprise.
Voilà une superbe occasion de me mettre au service et de donner du sens à ma présence.
Nous avons co-animé toutes les 3 une journée de séminaire d’équipe avec les bénévoles et salariés de l’association. Cette journée leur a permis de reconnecter au sens de leur engagement, de clarifier les sujets prioritaires et de définir les prochaines étapes pour l’équipe.
J’avais déjà pris des engagements “solidaires” lors de voyages précédents et ce sont toujours des moments chargés de belles émotions.
Cette fois-ci c’est encore plus fort puisque j’ai pu soutenir une initiative locale avec mes compétences, avec ce que je pense savoir faire de mieux.
L’alignement était puissant !
